Get to appointments easier.
We understand that getting to appointments may be a challenge for some patients. To help, we have eight vehicles on hand to provide non-emergency patient transportation. Our cars and vans are available to shuttle patients between our locations for needed services or to provide transportation between centers and patients’ residences. The service is FREE to our patients.
Who can use it?
Free transportation is available to all patients of our centers although priority is given to those who are significantly disabled and the elderly. Speak with your health service provider or your case manager (if you participate in the Ryan White HIV/AIDs Program) to see if they would recommend you for our transportation service.
What geographic areas do you cover?
Our patient transportation service areas include towns located in Westchester County, as well as some parts of the North Bronx.
How do I arrange transportation?
Please be sure to communicate your transportation needs to your health care provider. If you are recommended for transportation, your health care provider will let a Patient Advocate or your case manager know your appointment time and location and your address. The Patient Advocate or case manager will get the necessary approvals and will let you know by phone or email whether transportation has been arranged for you.
